One of the things that really sets Japanese apart from English is that you don’t have to be native speakers of Japanese to learn how to write Japanese.
This is important because Japanese doesn’t have the same grammatical rules that we use in English.
For example, a lot of Japanese sentences will end with 「などか」 (a lot of) rather than 「というがお」 (no).
This is the same in English as in Japanese: The only thing that makes this difference is that English is a noun-based language, so you’ll use the noun 「どち」 to describe a noun and 「がちが」 to refer to a verb.
This means that in Japanese the same thing will be written differently depending on what you’re writing.
For instance, the noun for a verb is usually written as 「そういい」 while in Japanese it’s usually written 「わたしい」.
The way to write 「゜」 as a noun is very different to English, and it’s also used to refer specifically to a person.
So while it may be confusing to learn all these differences, if the Japanese version of a word sounds more natural to you, you’re likely to be able to remember it as you’re reading.
It can be a bit daunting to learn a new language, but if you want a fun way to practice, there’s something for everyone here.
