Pakistan Designer brands, including Mango, Fruity and Peking, are set to open a $400 million headquarters in Pakistan in the first phase of the company’s expansion from its $300 million headquarters.
The company plans to open the new headquarters on a site that was built on the site of a former airport, in the southwestern city of Quetta.
The site was constructed with the help of a $50 million loan from the Pakistan Development Finance Corporation (PDFC), the government-backed financial institution that oversees the countrys economic growth.
The PDFC also plans to give the company a loan of about $10 million.
The expansion of the brand, which will have about 20 employees and offices in the United Arab Emirates, was completed in December.
It will expand to include other countries in the Middle East and Africa.
